I understood that Hückel method is a very simple linear combination of atomic orbitals molecular orbitals (LCAO MO) method for the determination of energies of molecular orbitals of pi electrons in conjugated hydrocarbon systems, such as ethene(From Wikipedia),but i found the extended Hückel method is different by including the sigma orbitals.
I'm really interested by the 4n+2 rule, this contained a pretty good explanation of its applications.
