Necessary condition for observing the quantum oscillation

For observing the quantum oscillation three factors are important:

1. High magnetic fields
2. Low temperature
3. Clean samples which means having pure crystals

    The first requirement means the magnetic fields are large enough that the circumference of the cyclotron orbit is smaller than a mean free path.
